On 5th March 1964, the Monteverdi Choir performed its first ever concert — Claudio Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610, in King's Chapel, King’s College, Cambridge. Today, exactly 50 years later, our world-renowned Choir celebrates its golden anniversary with a recreation of this historic performance — same repertoire, same day, same venue, and even some of the original performers — followed by a celebratory reception in King's College's Great Hall, starting at 21:35.
