The Monteverdi Choir invites applications for its 2008-9 Apprenticeship Scheme
The Monteverdi Choir is now advertising for applicants for its 2008-2009 Apprenticeship Scheme. Inaugurated in 2007, the scheme has so far given six young singers the experience of working alongside the professional members of the Monteverdi Choir in a variety of projects. more info
Sir John Eliot Gardiner is awarded Royal Academy of Music / Kohn Foundation's prestigious Bach Prize
The Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize, sponsored by the Kohn Foundation, is awarded annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the performance and/or scholarly study of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. This year's prize has been awarded to Sir John Eliot Gardiner. more info
